A Meal with Friends, You’re Invited!
It’s time to give friendship some respect. Nothing improves our lives like good relationships, and yet nothing gets crowded out of our busy lives faster.
We are better together! Good friends shape us, influence us, and help us live our best life.
It’s no coincidence that this is true for all of us. God wired us for relationships – for loving others and being loved by others. So finding good friends (and celebrating good friends) is important work! We are better together.
Modern research affirms this: More than any variable that’s ever been studied, the quality of your friendships improves your odds of a happy life, good health, career success, and even staying married. On the other hand, loneliness is conclusively linked with heart disease and high blood pressure.
On Sunday, September 15, we want to celebrate the friends in our lives. Join us as we worship together at 10 a.m. and then share a catered lunch together. As part of the meal we’ll celebrate communion at tables, just like Jesus and the early church did it.
We hope you’ll join us for this celebration! Please come as you are (i.e. casual). Childcare (infants through elementary) is provided, and everything will wrap up by noon. More questions? Reach out to us here.
