When: Sunday, July 9, following the gathering
Led by: John Hawkins
On Sunday, July 9, immediately after the gathering, join us for an informal Q&A discussion about baptism. If you can relate to any of the following, you’d likely find the discussion helpful: I was baptized as an infant, should I consider adult baptism? I was really young, did I know enough? I’ve never been baptized, but I’m a Christian. Would baptism mean anything for me? How do I explain baptism to my child who’s grown up in church and always known Jesus? They’re asking, but how do I know if my child is really ready? Sign up and we’ll have food available for everyone to eat as we talk.
Catalyst – A Milestone Event for Kids
When: Sun, July 9 – Wed, July 12, 6-8 p.m.
Led by: John Hawkins & Matt Savage
This summer we’re beta-testing a new learning environment for kids around 3rd-6th grades. What is Catalyst? A 4-night group for kids who are at a milestone, those ready to think about what being part of the church means for them. We want to explain why certain things are so meaningful to Christians – specifically baptism, the Bible, communion, and prayer – and invite them to share in these habits as well. A parent/guardian will be part of the group with each child. July 9-12, 6-8 p.m.
Women’s Bible Study – What Matters Most
When: Thursdays, 6:30 p.m. starting May 18
Led by: Sue Smith
When reading the Bible, it’s so helpful to hear the insights and questions of others. This summer we’re putting together an opportunity for ClearView women to study together what it really means to love God, others, and self in a group called What Matters Most. The group will be on Thursdays, 6:30-7:45 p.m., May 18 thru July. The group will be hosted at Interactional Services (707 Southfield Rd., next to Rhino Coffee). Friends and guests welcome.
Setup and Hosting
When: Sundays, 8-10 a.m.
Organized by: CG Boogaerts, Justin Earnest
Every Sunday is someone’s FIRST Sunday at ClearView! It’s a big step to walk into an unfamiliar church setting. (Ever been there?) That’s why we put so much effort into our Sunday morning worship gatherings. We want everyone to feel welcome, undistracted, and open to what God will say to them as we worship. If you’d like others to feel at home at ClearView, we’ll find a spot that fits with your gifts and schedule. Whether you’re setting up a classroom, running sound, or pouring coffee, you make a BIG difference!
When: Practices are Wednesdays at 6 p.m.
Led by: Richard Goff, Clay & Ivy French
If you have a talent for singing or playing and would like to be part of our team of musicians and worship leaders, we’d love to talk with you about that and have you visit one of our weekly practice sessions. Submit the form on the left and select “worship team” so we can contact you with details.
The Yet-to-be-named Men’s Group
When: 2x per month
Organized by: C.G. Boogaerts
This is an excuse for guys to hang out more often. We organize two hangouts per month, one in the morning – for Saturday breakfast, and one in the evening – for listening to live music or something like that. Sign up and we’ll let you know the next time and place. We guarantee you’ll have a good time!

Read over the descriptions to the right and then use this quick form to let us know where you’d like to plug in. We’ll let the group leader know of your interest, and you’ll be all set!
Note: Most groups require a minimum number of participants, in order to honor the time of those leading the groups. If a group fails to meet that level of interest, we will let you know.
