There’s a connection between our inner and outer worlds. What we think and feel inside shapes our relationships outside.
In recent years, no one has affirmed this connection more powerfully than shame researcher Dr. Brené Brown. In uber-popular TED talks and best-selling books she explores topics like shame vs guilt, imperfection vs perfectionism, and authenticity & vulnerability.
Though driven by her years of academic research, her findings overlap – again and again – with Christian faith. Consider Jesus’ brilliant teaching that we love others “as ourselves.”
Did you see it? The connection between inner and outer? Those who believe they are lovable are those who are able to love. This is the core idea we’ll be exploring in this group.
We want you to take part!
Join us for what will surely be a fun, insightful group. We’ll watch and discuss video teaching by Brené Brown, give you chances to hear from other couples, and give you plenty of time to process with your partner.
