This fall we have a new experience for ClearView men – a camping and kayaking trip to Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
You’re invited, and friends too. You can tent camp in Beavers Bend State Park Friday night or join us Saturday morning as we float the river. Either way, you’re sure to have a great time. Our hope is that this extended time together connects and strengthens all of us.
Sign up below and pay $35 to ClearView for the cost of the kayak rental. (We get a group discount.) Pay via a Joy Box or our PayPal giving option, and mark it “Men’s Weekend.”
If camping, you’ll book that yourself, and tent sites are $14 each. If arriving Saturday, meet us at Wild Goose Rentals (466 Wild Goose Road, Broken Bow, OK) by 10:15 a.m. Directions here.
We are doing an 8 mile float (4-5 hours). Pack beverages and a lunch to eat on the river. Stopping to eat and play some, we will likely get off the river around 5 p.m., no later than 6 p.m. No glass is allowed on the river. Alcohol is allowed, but must be in a separate ice chest so it can be picked up midway. Recommend water shoes (not flip flops), sunglasses, and sun protection. Wear clothes that can get wet, even if you plan to stay dry. If you bring your phone, pack it in a watertight bag.
