Numana SBC – Let’s Make It Happen!

Serving Hope for Haiti after Hurricane Matthew
ClearView Church and LSUS are partnering together to host a meal packing event Sat, Feb 25, 2017 called Numana SBC. Our plan is to pack 26,000+ meals for Haitians recovering from Hurricane Matthew.

The storm and destruction is no longer in the news, but the rebuilding continues. Tens of thousands of people are displaced. Crops have been wiped out, causing food supplies to be even less reliable, and in many areas clean water is not available. The food packed at this event will allow relief efforts to continue into 2017 as the country rebuilds.

Give by Nov 13
To secure this opportunity, we need to raise $4,000 (or more) by Nov 13. Let’s come together and make the most of this moment. Every 30 cents provides another meal, so everyone can make a difference.

Mark your donation “Haiti” and we’ll add it to our total. To give online, click here.

What’s a Numana Event? How Does It Work?
We’ll work together to pack meals made of rice, beans, soy, seasoning, and vitamins. Volunteers will serve together in groups of 10-12 for 1 hour shifts. There’s something for everyone – from measuring ingredients to sealing and boxing. Kids will enjoy serving too! Check out the video below for more:

Can my friend’s church/group/office help too?
Absolutely! We welcome all community partners. $300 would allow us to pack 1,000 more meals, $3,000 = 10,000 more meals. With a few more partners we could double our 26,000 meal goal or even more! This is a great way for churches and teams to serve together.
