We’ve been conditioned to say that we’re okay, whether we are or not. And most of the time it’s no big deal. Most of us have pretty great lives with only first-world problems. But sometimes we’re not okay. Not remotely. And in those moments, this cultural conditioning to hide our pain is as big a problem as the pain itself. In this series we’re looking at books of wisdom like Job, Psalms, and Proverbs, because there we find people of faith bold enough to say “I’m not okay!” And if they can say it, we can too. You and I have great lives, but we still hurt. And we need to know it’s okay to be not okay.
